this is what AIR (All India Radio) is thinking of - utilising some stuffs of Japanese Technology.

This is for those homes along the coast. People will be alerted to shift base in case of an earthquake/flood hit.

The entire process is like this . . . .

Earthquake triggers a tsunami OR heavy rain threatens a flood --- Met office / Disaster Management Authority alerts radio/TV station --- TV/radio on stand-by comes alive at home and gives a siren --- People awake --- Hears an announcement --- They leave for safe place --- TV/radio they take along, gives all-clear signal --- They returns back.
